WA Student Assistance Payment

A reminder to Parents & Carers that you can now claim for the WA Student Assistance Payment (WASAP) from the WA State Government. Parents and carers of eligible students can claim the payment to help with the cost of schooling.

The WASAP is for Kindergarten to Primary school students ($150) and Secondary school students ($250).

It's sometimes called a School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) or student number. You can find this number on school reports, including previous NAPLAN results. It may also be on a secondary student's SmartRider.

The last date to submit a claim is 28 June 2024.

The preferred method for claims is through ServiceWA.
